A trip to the prehistorical past, whre we come across fosile remnants and rocky formations capriciously carved by the wind, that give this region its name: The Valley of the Moon.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Depature from Jorge Newbery Airport with destination: San Juan
Reception and transfer to Vallle Fèrtil, visiting the Difunta Correa’s sanctuary on the way. Arrival to San Agustìn del Valle Fertil .

Day 2
Valley of the Moon / Cañòn de la Tampaya
Breakfast and departure on an excursion to Parque Provincial de Ischigualasto or Valley of the Moon in San Juan, visiting the circuit for about 3 hours, to see strange formations like El Gusano, El Valle Pintado, LaCancha de Bochas, El Submarino y El Hongo as well as the fosile remnants and prehistorical plants in this paleonthological region known world wide.
Once in LaRioja province we will enter the Parque Nacional Cañòn de La Tampaya in special vehicles travelling along the bed of the dried river and admiring the imposing red rocky formations and the capricious forms carved by eolic erosion like the Friar, the Magic King and the cathedrals.

Day 3
San Agustìn del Valle Fèrtil (San Juan ) Breakfast and departure on a trip to San Juan city.
Arrival at noon, check in. Visit to the city and its surroundings; in the afternoon: Casa de Sarmiento , Parque Mayo, Marquesado, Dique de Ullum, Cerro Blanco, Autodròmo in the Quebrada del Zonda, Jardìn de los Poetas.
Day 4
Breakfast and free morning.
Transfer to the airport at a convenient time to take the flight to Buenos Aires airport.
