Los Esteros de Iberą are in the centre of the province of Corrientes connecting only with the river of the same name.
Los Esteros de Iberą are one of the greatest fauna reservoir in Argentina because of its extention (1.300.000 hectares) and the species found thre are : the Yacarč, the Boa Curiył,Lobitos de Rģo and 350 bird species.
The Parque Provincial Mocona protects a jungle area of 999 hectares, immersed in the reservoir Biosfera Yabotģ ( Man and Biosphere Programme, UNESCO ) which covers and area of 240.000 Hectares.
Immemorial trees and trekking paths of different levels of difficulty match perfectly with the jungle and and its fauna.
About three hundred bird species live in the area, some threatened by extinction, the majority endemic in Misiones.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Reception at the airport or bus terminal in Poasadas. Crossing of the Esteros de Iberą. Lunch. Boat ride and trekking to observe the flora and fauna. Visit to the interpretation Centre. Dinner and lodging.
Day2
Breakfast. Visit to the Estero del Cambą Trapo. Lunch. Mounted procession to the suthern extreme of the Iberą Lagoon. Dinner and lodging.
Day3
Breakfast. Visit to the Parque Provincial Moconą.Llegada. Visit to Salto Horacio Foerster. Lodging and dinner.
Day4
Breakfast. Visit to the Parque Provincial Moconą (subject to the hight of the river). Lunch in the country Trekking and interpretation of the jungle along paths of varied difficulty. Back to the Refugio. Dinner and lodging.
Day 5
Breakfast. Departure to Posadas.Transfer to the airport, bus terminal or hotel. End of our service.
