ITINERARY
Day 1
Reception at Usuhaia airport. Short visit to the city and transfer to the hotel.
Encounter with beavers:
Departure 7 p.m. to the Valle del Rìo Chico, 7 km. away from the centre of the city. Crossing of the Martial Chain along a path in a 4x4 .Afte 45 minutes off road , we begina wlk through a virgen forest up to the place where the beavers work eagerly.
After watching them work and learn about their habits we go back to the centre of the valley where dinner by the bonfire is waiting.
Back to the Usuhaia hotel.
Duration: 5 hours
Necessary equipment : warm clothes because the weather can be cold.
Day 2
Lakes off the road:
Approximately at 9.30 a.m. a Defender Land Rover will pick you up.
You will go to the north along National Route 3, crossing the cordillera along the Carbajal and Tierra Mayor valleys up to the Paso Garibaldi, where you will make a stop to take pictures and continue then to the Brozovich sawmill then you will take a road which is only for all terrain vehicles and where there are no other vehicles, going through virgen and unique forests.
Travelling along tracks of different difficulty levels up to the coast of the Fagano lake, wading through it and even getting into it at times Once in the shelter you will be ale to walk around while the guides prepare lunch : A suculent barbecue. After lunch back on the complementary road to get to the headwaters of the Escondido lake where the Petrel inn is located, then we will walk on the beach while those who wish so can have a coffee at the inn.
Back on Road 3 to get to Ushuaia city, arriving at approximately 6 p. m.
Duration: 6 hours( that can turn out to be 10 on a nice day)
Day 3
Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego (walks and navigation):
At approximately 9.30 you will set out to the Parque Nacional de Tierra del Fuego. Once inside the park You will go towards a coastal path ,walking for about 3hours along the coast of the Beagle Channel, crossing beautiful beaches and cliffs.
During the walk you will be able to see the Navarino and Redonda isles in the horizon.The forests in this region are unique
There is a great variety of species that are only found in this forests ,you will leran about the different vrieties of notofagus .
You will reach the foot of a cliff where you will cross to the Redonda isle on board a zodiac but before you will have the chance to see two hair wolves on a samall island.
Lunch will be served on the island in a shelter with a view to the channel and the park.
After lunch and a short rest you will continue navigating to Lapataia Bay (20’).There we will disembark In the suthern extreme af the famous panamerican route, more than 3000 km. away from Buenos Aires city. We will go to Laguna Verde a few metres away for some “mates” and biscuits before we go back to Ushuaia.

Day 4
Free morning
We recommend navigating along the Beagle Channel on the Tres Marìas a fishing boat that you can hire at the harbour or visiting the Museum of the End of the World or the Jail Museum (optional not included in the tariff).
In the afternoon transfer to the Ushuaia airport.
